In high school I took a fitness class and loved learning about all the different ways to workout - dumbbells, exercise machines, etc. I loved it.
When I started helping some of my friends and family exercise, I realized I loved teaching other people and helping them hit their goals. That naturally led into me going to school for health and fitness and becoming a personal trainer.
I believe in working a muscle hard and safely within your capabilities. I get to know my clients well so I can best train them given their fitness level, schedules and goals. Making exercise a lifetime activity is key.
I also aim to educate my clients along the way so they understand why we're doing something a certain way. Exercise can be very confusing with all the information out there and I aim to help with that.
To me, client success is them achieving their own individual goals. Everybody has different goals but what I love most is seeing clients gaining strength and confidence in themselves. Seeing someone's joy when they achieve something that they didn't think they were able to do is so inspiring.
