"More" can come in so many forms in exercise.

More reps and sets. More time and distance. More days or exercise in a given week or month.

"More" can get quite granular, too. More muscle sensation, more excursion in a given joint and more durability to take your exercise intensity to a higher level are more fine-tuned versions of progress in their own ways.

The real operative question is: how do these progressions make you and your exercise better?

To take it a step further: how do they make you and your exercise better based on your purpose for exercising in the first place?
